- Navigate to your iPhone's Settings.
- On the next screen, click Mail, then select Accounts.
- Select the email account you want to change or view for the server settings.
Depending on whether you need to view the incoming or outgoing settings, select either IMAP or POP (for incoming) or SMTP (outgoing mail)
Under IMAP/POP, select Account. This will display your incoming (IMAP/POP) and outgoing (SMTP) mail server information
If you don't see the incoming or outgoing server settings, click on Advanced
Make sure that:
- Use SSL is ON
- Authentication is set to "PASSWORD"
- Server Port is set to "993" for IMAP or "995" for POP3 for the Incoming Mail server OR Server Port "465" for SMTP Outgoing Mail server
These settings apply only to websites hosted with Technology Matters. If your emails are hosted elsewhere, your port numbers may be different (refer to your own hosting provider for the correct info).
Click "Done" and the phone will verify the settings. If it does NOT verify, then something is wrong. Check all settings again (maybe password?) and click DONE again.
Then simply click back to the main settings windows.
